William De La Warr, (Earl De La Warr DL) is a non-executive director at Cluff Natural Resources plc.

Cluff is an AIM-listed resource company founded by Algy Cluff.

Between 2013-16 it was focused on unlocking the energy potential in the UK via the proven Deep Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) process which involves targeting stranded coal and converting it into syngas. The Government ultimately refused to support the technology in 2016.

Biography

William De La Warr has 35 years' experience in the securities industry. He was Director of Credit Lyonnais Securities (Broking) Ltd, formerly Laing & Cruickshank, both in institutional sales and corporate broking. Most recently he has worked at Shore Capital Stockbrokers having particular involvement with the natural resources team. [1]
