Will Tanner is a lobbyist who became director of Onward, a think tank closely associated with the Conservative Party in May 2018.

Tanner was previously a lobbyist with Portland Communications from September 2017 where his job was to "advise clients on the policy priorities of the Conservative government, including Brexit". The role of chief policy adviser at Portland was previously held by Lord James O’Shaughnessy, now a junior minister at the Department for Health.
