Will McDonald is a former special adviser to Yvette Cooper, the member of parliament for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford since 2010, having previously been the MP for Pontefract and Castleford since 1997.

McDonald was worked for Cooper in various departments, ranging from the Department for Work and Pensions, the HM Treasury to the Department of Communities and Local Government between 2007 and 2010. [1]
