Ty Goddard is co-founder with Ian Fordham of education reform lobby group, the Education Foundation and Chair of Edtech UK, a lobby group for the UK's education technology industry.[1]

Lobbying for technology in schools

Goddard is an edtech lobbyist in the UK. He is calling, for example, for a 'National EdTech Plan' for England.[2]

He describes the introduction of computing on the national curriculum in England as 'one of the most interesting door openings that we’ve seen for a long time', for school reformers. 'It was about, yes, and whatever people want to say about him, it was about Michael Gove, finally, I think, dispensing a cynicism around technology and laying out a good way forward.'[3]
