Tom King, Lord King of Bridgwater, is a Conservative politician.[1]

Northern Ireland Secretary (1985-89)

King served as Northern Ireland Secretary from 3 September 1985 to 24 July 1989.[2] Shortly after his appointment,, according to Jonathan Powell, King made a last-minute attempt to derail the Anglo-Irish Agreement. [3]
