The Washington Conference on Port Security, Maritime Intelligence and Counter-Proliferation was a two day conference and one day course on counter-terrorism held at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington D.C. from 19 - 21 May 2004. The conference was presented by the Maritime Intelligence Group and co-sponsored by the Centre for the Study of Political Violence, Sandia National Laboratories, Lloyds Marine Intelligence Unit, Lloyd's List, Informa Group, and the American Association of Port Authorities.

Numerous US state officials and corporate executives spoke at the conference, as did as the top CSTPV affiliated people including Paul Wilkinson, Rohan Gunaratna, Peter Rigby, David Veness, Magnus Ranstorp and Bruce Hoffman. Matthew Levitt, of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy also spoke.
