Simone Finn has been a special adviser to the UK minister for the Cabinet Office since January 2012. The role was held by Conservative MP (now Lord) Francis Maude until 2015 and is now held by Matthew Hancock, who is also paymaster general. Finn worked with Maude in his roles in the cabinet and the House of Lords and as minister for trade and investment.[1][2]
