According to Geoff Mulgan 'Although largely ignored in the UK the Progressive governance Network established at Blair's instigation has achieved far more reach and in many more parts of the world than any predecessor, thanks to the patronage of leaders like Lula, Schroeder and Mbeki, helped by the Policy Network, a sort of meta-think tank that has served to share ideas produced by other think tanks (again helped by funding by Lord Sainsbury amongst others).[1]
