  • Lovestone facing ruin, debates war support with Bertram Wolfe.[12] Debates Fenner Brockway.[13] supports aid to England in letter to Bill Munger.[14]
  • Special Operations Executive created.
  • 4 Wolfe writes Lovestone conceding he no longer represents majority on war question.[15]
