Pincus Green is an international commodity trader. He started his career at Philipp Brothers in 1954. With his long-term business partner Marc Rich, built Phibro into world's largest trader of a number of major commodities. He left the company in the mid-1970s to co-found Marc Rich & Co. He reportedly helped to negotiate 1970s oil trading deals with Iran, Cuba, Russia, South Africa and Angola. He reportedly fled to Europe in 1983 after being indicted for trading with Iran during the US hostage crisis, and for evading taxes. He was pardoned by President Bill Clinton in 2001. He is thought to be living in Jerusalem.[1]
