Activities

UJIA mission Possible

Sandler has participated in UJIA activities. The UJIA is one of the four key U.K. members of the Zionist Movement. Nina and Roy Sandler are patrons of the UJIA, meaning they give £12,500 or more annually to the organisation.[2]

She wrote of her experiences in the UJIA 'Mission Possible' programme as follows:

About thirty years ago, I was on my gap year at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and I felt the most connected I’ve ever been to Israel. My first Mission Possible with UJIA two years ago revived that strong connection, and this time, I managed to persuade my husband, Roy, to join me on the 10th Anniversary Mission in April.[3]

She concluded that:

Roy and I were overwhelmed by Mission Possible 2015. The impact was so emotional. Not only did we gain a much greater understanding of Israel’s challenges and the vital work carried out by UJIA, but we also left with a feeling of great pride and a much deeper connection to this vibrant country.[3]

Greenaway Foundation

The Greenaway Foundation was created in 2019. Amongst its charitable objects is:

4.1.1 EDUCATION;
4.1.2 CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND RECONCILIATION; AND
