Moshe Weiss is the founder of Lezion B’Rina, a school in Jerusalem for boys from the former Soviet Union.[1]

Nathan Sharansky appointed Weiss as an advisor on personal status and Jewish identity issues when his Yisrael B’Aliya party entered Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition government in 1996. He later took up a similar role in the Immigrant Absorption Ministry under Yuli Edelstein until 2000.[1]
