Sir Michael Rake is a British businessman, who is chairman of BT Group, chairman of Worldpay and a director of S&P Global.

He served as president of the CBI from 2013 until 2015 and was also deputy chairman of Barclays bank until 2015.

Career

Rake spent 30 years with consultants KPMG, where he was senior partner of the UK firm and chairman of KPMG International.

He joined Barclays bank in January 2008 as a non-executive director, was appointed senior independent director in October 2011 and deputy chairman in July 2012.[1]
