Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford

Mark Francois has been the Conservative Party MP for Rayleigh and Wickford since 2010. In the 2015 election, Francois successfully defended his seat, gaining a majority of 17,230 and 55% of the vote.

He was the MP for Rayleigh from 2001 to 2010. He was appointed a minister of state at the Ministry of Defence in 2012.[1] In May 2015, Francois was appointed minister of state at the Department for Communities and Local Government. [2]
