Marcus Jones has been the Conservative Party MP for Nuneaton since 2010, [1] and was re-elected in 2015 with a majority of 4,882.

In April 2014, he was appointed parliamentary private secretary to Sajid Javid the secretary of state for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. [2]

In May 2015, Jones was promoted to parliamentary under secretary of state for communities and local government at the Department for Communities and Local Government. [3]
