Loftus Charitable Trust

The Loftus Charitable Trust is a UK-based grant-giving charity (charity no. 297664), registered on 5 October 1987. It is known to have sent funds to the The Jerusalem Educational Trust a British charity which helps to fund Ateret Cohanim an organisation engaged directly in ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem. The charity was set up by the Loftus family the owners of the watchmaking firm Accurist. In 2014 the firm was purchased by the parent company of Sekonda. 'Time Products has announced the deal, which will see the first time control over the Accurist business leaving the hands of the Loftus family. Marcus Margulies, owner of Time Products Ltd, said: "The Marguilies and Loftus families have known each other for over 50 years and recognise the benefits that will stem from the merger of these two very famous brands.'
