James Cartlidge has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) for South Suffolk since May 2015. [1]

Cartlidge was appointed as the Conservatives candidate for South Suffolk in March 2015 when Tim Yeo decided to retire, [2] having served this seat since 1987. Cartlidge ensured that this Conservative safe seat remained by gaining a majority of 17,545 in the general election. [3]
