Huw Irranca-Davies has been the Labour Party member of Parliament (MP) for Ogmore since 2002. In the most recent election in 2015, Davies retained his seat with 53 percent of the vote and a majority of 13,043. [1]

Irranca-Davies has been the shadow minister for environment food and rural affairs since 2011.

He was elected chair of the Environmental Audit Committee in June 2015. [2]

He is a nephew of Ifor Davies, Labour MP for Gower 1959-82.[4]
