Graham Chipchase is the chief executive of consumer packaging company Rexam PLC and a non-executive director at pharmaceutical giants AstraZeneca.

Career

Chipchase started his career with Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte before moving to industrial gases company The BOC Group plc (now part of The Linde Group) in 1990 and in 2001 he was appointed finance director of aerospace services at engineering group GKN plc.

He was appointed group finance director at Rexam PLC in 2003, group director, plastic packaging in 2005 and in 2010 was appointed chief executive of the firm.

In April 2012 he was appointed as a non-executive direct and a member of the remuneration committee at AstraZeneca.[1]

Letter to the Telegraph

On 1 April 2015 Anand was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[2]
