The Global Warming Policy foundation empasises the following; We are funded entirely by voluntary donations from our Members and Supporters. The annual membership fee is as much as you feel you can afford, but is a minimum of £100 p.a. All donors will receive a Gift Aid Declaration. If you're a UK taxpayer, you can use Gift Aid to make your donations go further. If you do, The Global Warming Foundation will receive an additional 25p for every pound you give through tax relief and at no extra cost to you. <ref> GWPFJoin today and become a Member"GWPF" accessed 16.10.2010Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name

However the GWPF does not disclose the identity of their donors. Any information about members and donors shall not be disclosed without the express consent of the donor.<ref> GWPFJoin today and become a Member"GWPF" accessed 16.10.2010<ref/ In an interview in March 2010,After some persuation Lord Lawson of Blaby said: We have donations from private individuals and private charitable trusts. That is how we are financed. We have one absolutely strict rule: we will not accept any money at all from the energy industry or anyone who has any significant interest in the energy industry. Like most thinktanks, not all but like most, we do not publish a list, because if donors wish to remain anonymous, for whatever reasons, perfectly good reasons, then it is their privilege. I am very happy for them to be published. We are absolutely clean. I would be very happy to see the names of all our donors published, I can assure you, it would be very, very good, but if they wish to remain anonymous, for whatever reason, maybe they have other family members who take a different view and they do not want to have a row within the family, maybe they do not want a whole lot of other people asking them for money. When the annual report comes we will ask our donors if they wish to be named. Some may; some may not. <ref>Leo HickhamWanted: GWPF assistant director to reveal thinktank's funding09.03.2010 accessed 17.11.10Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name

However, the secrecy behind GWPF not disclosing their donors leaves many asking questions and being suspecious. GWPF was formed as a think tank bringing balance to the climate and energy debate, evaluating alternatives to mainstreme findings on global warming and challenging damaging and harmful policies. The GWPF has clear cut aims yet the funds towards achieving their aims are hidden leaving many asking and wondering who funds them and why.

This leads to further suspission
