Former Reagan administration member and one time US presidential candidate Gary Bauer is as a neoconservative Christian Zionist who serves on the executive board of Christians United for Israel which is headed by John Hagee. Bauer became the co-founder of the Campaign for Working Families in 1996 which is intended to "represent the interests and values of America's traditional families in the political arena"[1] and was active with Christian value lobbying during the Reagan administration in the 1980s-90s. [2] More recently he has spoken at an AIPAC convention upholding the beliefs of the Christian Right that Israel is the promised land of the Jews. [3] He also personally endorses Honest Reporting, indicating a link between the US and Israeli politics. [4]
