John Dennis (Don) Concannon (1930-2003) was a Labour politician.[1]

As a young man, Concannon joined the Coldstream Guards, serving in Mandate Palestine in 1947 during the conflict that led to the creation of the State of Israel, and later in Libya.[2]

Northern Ireland

Concannon served in the Northern Ireland Office as an Under-Secretary of State from 27 June 1974 to 14 April 1976, and thereafter as a Minister of State until 4 May 1979.[3]
