Denzil Davidson is currently researcher to the first secretary of state for foreign and commonwealth affairs Philip Hammond. [1] He held the same job for the previous foreign secretary William Hague. [2]

Background

Davidson used to work for the Conservative Research Department where he was head of the International Section. He was also special adviser to Hague on EU issues from 2005. Davidson is a member of the Franco-British Council.[3]

Education

He was educated at Edinburgh University, where he read History (MA Hons) and Law (LLB). [4]
