Colin Davies is President of the Aluminium Federation, the UK's aluminium trade association and principle lobbying body. He is also sales director responsible for aerospace and defence sales into Europe, the Middle East, South America and Russia at Alcoa Europe Flat Rolled Products, based in Birmingham.[1]

Previously he worked for British Alcan at its Birmingham rolling mill, and subsequently with British Aluminium when Alcan sold its downstream activities. After Alcoa's takeover of British Aluminium in 2000, Mr Davies assumed his current role as Alcoa's aerospace and defence flat rolled products sales from UK, USA and Russia.[2]
