Chris Wilkins was a special adviser to Nicky Morgan at the Department for Education from July 2014 to May 2015. Wilkins was the former policy adviser and speech writer to the last two Conservative leaders, and was assistant campaign director to the Conservatives election guru Lynton Crosby in 2005. [1]

As special adviser to Morgan, Wilkins was paid an annual salary of £83,000. [2]
