Chris Wilkins was appointed special adviser to Nicky Morgan at the Department for Education in July 2014. Wilkins was the former policy adviser and speech writer to the last two Conservative leaders, and was assistant campaign director to the Conservatives election guru Lynton Crosby in 2005. [1]
