Sir Cameron Mackintosh is a British theatre producer.

Career
Mackintosh first play was Anything Goes at the West End in 1969, since then his plays include Cats, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Mary Poppins, Oklahoma! and The Phantom of the Opera.[1]
Changing political allegiances
Once a Tony Blair supporter and donor to the Labour Party, Mackintosh announced he would vote Conservative in the 2010 General Election because he doesn't 'like supporting incompetence'.[2]
Letter to the Telegraph
On 1 April 2015 Mackintosh was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[3]
