Barry Gardiner (born 10 March 1957, Glasgow) is Labour Party MP for Brent North and a former mister under the Blair and Brown governments.
In the May 2015 general election, Gardiner was re-elected with a majority of 10,834.

- parliamentary under-secretary of state at Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between May 2006-June 2007
- July 2007 appointed as the by the Prime Minister's special representative on forestry.[1] He left this position in September 2008, after having accused Mr Brown of 'vacillation, loss of international credibility and timorous political manoeuvres that the public cannot understand'cl.[2]
