Angela Evans Smith is a former Minister of State in the Cabinet Office. She was awarded a peerage in the dissolution honours list on 28 May 2010.[1]

Approved by ACOBA who saw "no reason why she should not accept consultancy work, including with Vertex Data Science Ltd, forthwith, subject to the conditions that she should not draw on any confidential or privileged information available to her as a Minister for the particular benefit of any clients, and, for 12 months from her last day in office, she should not become personally involved in lobbying UK Government Ministers or Crown servants, including Special Advisers, on behalf of her clients".[2]
