Andrew Buxton is a corporate board member and lobbyist. He has been chair of Barclays Bank and President of the British Bankers Association. Together with Leon Brittan he played a key role in forming and leading various business coalitions aimed at advancing banking interests through the promotion of free trade in financial services. [1]

Buxton founded and was the inaugural chair of the European Services Network which became the European Services Forum (ESF). He chaired the High Level LOTIS Committee and co-chaired the Financial Leaders Group (FLG) with Ken Whipple, President of Ford Financial Services, who also chaired the Financial Services Group of the US Coalition of Service Industries (CSI).
