American Friends of the Reut Institute (AFRI) is a non-profit organization based in the United States that awards grants to "organizations and programs that work to strengthen the vision of the state of Israel as a Jewish, democratic and prosperous state".

Its Federal ID number is 20-3585888.

Activities

The primary beneficiary of AFRI funding is the Tel Aviv-based Israeli think tank the Reut Institute and AFRI is Reut's main source of funds. AFRI states that it will also consider grant applications from organisations with similar goals.

AFRI describes Reut as "currently focused on national security and particularly on the challenge of dealing with the Palestinians".[1]
