Akanksha Hazari

Akanksha is currently part of the Middle East Strategy Group at the Aspen Institute where she manages and develops MESG's economic projects and ventures in Gaza and the West Bank. She is also a part of the Aspen US-Iran Dialogue Initiative. Hazari graduated from Princeton University having majored in International Relations and Diplomacy and completed a certificate in Near East Studies. Her senior thesis, titled "US-Saudi Relations Pre- and Post- 9/11", analyzed the checkered nature of these two countries' significant and evolving partnership. Hazari was born in India and raised in Hong Kong; she has spent a significant amount of time traveling and residing in destinations across the globe. She speaks French, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Marahti and is currently learning Farsi.[1]
