In addition Furnham has three publications listed on the Social Affairs Unit website.

  • 2002 Furnham published Growing up with Advertising. In the publication Furnham argues that those who wish to introduce regulations to protect young people from the advertising of products do not have evidence that young people are at risk from advertising. Furnham states that learning how to handle advertisements is educative and a useful part of growing up.[5]
