John Whiting

John Whiting has been Tax Policy Director at the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) since 2009 and is also a past president.
He is also Tax Director of the Office of Tax Simplification.[1] Whiting had a long career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a tax partner for 25 years and is a regular speaker and commentator on a wide variety of taxation topics as well as being a member of the first-tier Tax Tribunal. He was awarded the OBE in 2008 for services to the tax profession. [2]
