David joined the Board of [HBOS] in March 2004. Until 31 December 2003, David was the Senior Partner of [Deloitte & Touche] for Scotland and Northern Ireland, and until September 2003, was a UK Board member of [Deloitte & Touche]. He is also a Governor and Non-executive Director of [The Glasgow School of Art] and a member of the advisory panel to [Martin Currie] in respect of its Private Equity business. David is a Chartered Accountant.[1]
