William Kessler - (6 April 1927 - 30 July 2019).[1][2]

According to an obituary by Edward Kessler:

AT THE age of 15, William Kessler was told by his father to leave his local grammar school and start working for the family firm, Kesslers. He remained there for over 75 years. A scuccessful businessmen, a generous philanthropist and prominent member of the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, Kessler... began as chairman of the youth club and rose to become LJS president... His dedication to Pregressive Jewish life led to his eventual chairmanship of Leo Baeck College.[2]

Family

Married Jo Reubner in 1952. The couple had four sons, George, Charles, James, and Edward[2]
