Jeremy Lott is a journalist. He is the son of a Baptist minister and a convert to the Church of Rome and lives in Lynden, Washington, USA.[1] He mainly writes about politics and religion, and is the author of In Defence of Hypocrisy: Picking Sides in the War on Virtue.[2] He is assistant managing editor of The American Spectator[3] and a contributor to Reason Magazine [4] and The Guardian[5].
Lott is also involved with the Competitive Enterprise Institute[6], the Cato Institute[7], and the Capital Research Center[8]. He also sits on the Advisory Council of the Democracy Institute.[9] Lott holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Trinity Western University, Canada.[10]
