Nigel Shadbolt is Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the University of Southampton and Head of the Web and Internet Science Group. He is also Director of the Web Science Trust and of the Web Foundation. In June 2009 he was appointed by the government, along with Sir Tim Berners-Lee, to be an Information Advisor to help transform public access to Government information.[1]
