He graduated in Law from Oxford University and qualified as a Barrister at Gray's Inn before joining the corporate finance team at [[Kleinwort Benson]] Ltd in London. He subsequently worked in Paris, Brussels and Glasgow before helping to found Noble in 1980. Tim is a MBA graduate of [[INSEAD]], a non-executive chairman of [[Palmaris Capital]] plc and [[Darnaway Venture Capital]] plc, and non-executive director of [[Scottish Friendly Assurance Society]] Limited and [[Martin Energy]] Ltd.</div>David
