The trust was registered on 29 March 1974 under a trust deed dated 21 February 1974. It was removed on 8 August 2011, when its funds were transferred to Laniado Hospital UK. It also used the working names British Friends of Laniado Hospital and Friends of Laniado UK; a third working name is recorded as "Friends of Lanado UK". The removed record shows no address and no trustees.<ref name="CC" />
