Salam Hafez is an Arabic speaking journalist and analyst who has reported on a wide range of Arab, Muslim and financial issues from United States, Europe and the Middle East.<br />

He has previously worked in the Emirates as a journalist for Gulf News. Later he was involved in the successful launch of Dow Jones Newswires Gulf Bureau. He later joined Al Jazeera English as a journalist and was part of its successful launch.<br />

He has appeared as a commentator on Al Arabiyah. Previously he was a freelance journalist in Lebanon.<br />
