'''Ron Dennis''' is the group CEO of Formula One racing team [[McLaren International]].

==Career==
Dennis' career began at Formula One team [[Brabham]], before starting his own team [[Rondel]] in 1971 - initially racing in Formula Two.

After obtaining backing from tobacco company [[Marlboro]], Denis merged with [[McLaren]] in 1980 to form [[McLaren International]]. The team were the dominant team in 1980s and won many titles. Dennis stepped down as McLaren team principal in 2009 and was replaced by [[Martin Whitmarsh]]. After a short break from the sport, Dennis returned to McLaren as group CEO in 2014 and his first act was to remove Whitmarsh from his role and replace him with rivals [[Lotus]]' [[Eric Boullier]].<ref> ESPN [http://en.espn.co.uk/mclaren/motorsport/driver/3713.html Ron Dennis], accessed 2 April 2015.</ref>
