==Career==
Johnson started his career in the [[British Army]], having trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He then held a number of senior roles within [[Lex Service Group]], [[British Leyland]], [[Jaguar]] and [[Land Rover]]. He was then seconded to the [[Ministry of Defence]] and commanded the 4th Battalion.

Johnson has previous business experience as the chairman of model and toy company [[Hornby]] plc; aerospace and defence engineering company [[Umeco]] plc; professional services company [[RSM Tenon Group]] plc; and telematics company [[Cybit]] plc; CEO of the [[RAC]]; director of the [[British Aerospace]]; director general of the [[Engineers Employers Federation]] and founder of the [[British-American Business]] Inc.
