== Tucker Carlson interview, 2026 ==<br />
In an interview released on 20 February 2026, [[Tucker Carlson]] asked Huckabee about God's promise to Abraham of land "from the wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates", which Carlson said would cover "Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon" and parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Huckabee replied: "It would be fine if they took it all."<ref name="Guardian2026" /> He then said "Israel" was "asking to at least take the land that they now occupy", and that his remark had been somewhat "hyperbolic".<ref name="BBC2026" /><br />
<br />
Fourteen governments, including Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, together with the Arab League, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Gulf Cooperation Council, called the comments "dangerous and inflammatory".<ref name="BBC2026" /><br />
