[[Leroy Schecter]] is the founder and current chairman and director of the [[Leroy Schecter Foundation]] (EIN: 30-0134495) (also known as the Schecter Family Foundation). Born in 1927, Schecter served in the US military during World War II. After the war Schecter began working in surplus metal sales, later diversifying his interests into trucking, building products and real estate.
