Kollel Shefa Chaim is a charitable trust on the register of the Charity Commission for England and Wales (charity number 1103727). The register gives Kollel Sanz as its working name and an address on Stamford Hill in London. It is linked to the Sanz-Klausenburg Hasidic dynasty by that working name, by a shared address and by a shared trustee with Friends of Sanz Institutions; the basis is set out below.

Registration
The charity was registered on 12 May 2004. It is governed by a declaration of trust dated 1 October 2003. Its registered address is Kollel Shefa Chaim, 124 Stamford Hill, London N16 6QT. The register records that it is not recognised by HMRC for gift aid and that its reporting is up to date.

Objects and activities
Its objects are the relief of poverty, the advancement of Orthodox Jewish education, and other purposes that the law of England and Wales treats as charitable.

The charity's own summary on the register says it was set up by trust deed to make general charitable donations, especially for relieving poverty and advancing religion and religious education. The register classes its work as general charitable purposes, education and training, and religious activities. It makes grants to individuals, serves people of a particular ethnic or racial origin and works throughout London. It reports three trustees and three volunteers.

Trustees
The register lists three trustees, with no appointment dates:
* David Klein, who is also a trustee of Friends of Sanz Institutions (328498) and Round Island Ltd (1151474).
* Chaim Intrater, with no other trusteeships on record.
* Avrohom Lieber, with no other trusteeships on record.

Dynasty link
The link to Sanz-Klausenburg rests on the following register entries:
* The charity's working name is Kollel Sanz.
* Its address, 124 Stamford Hill, London N16 6QT, is the address that the register gives for Friends of Sanz Institutions.
* Its trustee David Klein is also a trustee of Friends of Sanz Institutions.
The register itself does not name a rebbe or a dynasty. The Sanz name is also borne by other descendants of the Sanz line, so the link is drawn from the name and the shared address and trustee, not from a statement by the charity.
