==Career==
Sadek is an urban land developer. She started her career at the [[London Docklands Development Corporation]], before joining [[Stanhope]] plc. In the 1990s she joined the site acquisition team at [[Tesco]] plc and then joined [[Paddington Regeneration Partnership]]. From 2007 to 2010 she served as head of regeneration for [[CBRE Group]].

In March 2014 she joined [[Greg Clark]], the minister for cities, on a one year contract, and it seems that contract has been extended beyond the 2015 general election.<ref> Estates Gazette [http://www.estatesgazette.com/blogs/jackie-sadek/about-jackie-sadek/ Jackie Sadek], accessed 10 June 2015.</ref>

 :As trailed in my blog of 22 July, I have re-joined Her Majesty’s Government, in a somewhat more senior and empowered role than before, and needless to say I am very excited about it all. Things have taken a little while to settle down (and apparently this is par for the course in a change of government), but I am now properly ensconced in the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government’s ministerial office as specialist regeneration adviser. Greg intends to make a real difference, and it will be a huge honour to support him with all the agendas that I care so passionately about.
