In March 2013 Scrupps joined [[G4S]] Care and Justice as an operations support manager on immigration/border contracts for five months. He was recruited &amp;quot;to support wholesale operational transition&amp;quot; and secured a permanent role within COMPASS [the Home Office's asylum seeker housing contract] and G4S.	&lt;br /&gt;

In September 2013 Scrupps was made Head of Technical Services for [[G4S]] in its 'Central Government services' division. He continued to work on Home Office contracts in this role.&lt;br /&gt;
