*1934 - At the close of the business of the meeting a hat night was held by the Literary Section of the [[Gertrude Jacobson Orphanage Auxiliary|Auxiliary]]. A debate has been arranged for Monday, 29th October, the subject to be ‘‘Should Palestine be Solely for Jews?' The affirmative will be led off by [[Mr. Berkley]] and [[Mrs. E. Shinwell]] will lead for the negative. All wishing to join the Auxiliary are invited to attend the meetings held at the Orphanage, Sinclair .
