The EU describes Nachala as aiming to promote "Jewish settlements and illegal outposts in the West Bank". It says Nachala's outposts, including Evyatar, Maoz Esther, Oz Zion, Ramat Migron, Nachalat Zvi and Haeitam Farm, "have been persistent sources of settler violence", and that several were built on privately owned Palestinian land.
